Only the policy holder, their spouse and dependents who are aged 16 and over are eligible to register an Online Services account.
Once you have registered an Online Services account, it is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality and security of your password. We are not liable for any loss or damage, or breach of privacy, you suffer as a result of the misuse of your password by any third party.
You should submit your provider’s receipt through Online Services, no more than 2 years from the date of service and will aim to pay your claim within two working dates, although we do not guarantee this target time.
We can only pay claims by direct credit into an account with a bank, building society or credit union.
You should keep a copy of your receipt in case of loss during the claim process. As a security precaution, we may suspend future claims received through Online Services or point of service facilities (e.g. HICAPS) if receipts are not submitted. We may also contact your service provider to validate the receipt of the service.
We do not warrant the accuracy, currency or completeness of any information or material available on or through Online Services since information may change without notice. Delays in processing transactions may occur and information may not apply to your specific circumstances.
We do not guarantee that Online Services will be available to users at all times.
No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. Whilst we take reasonable steps to protect information you transmit to us through Online Services, we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit to us through Online Services. Accordingly, any information which you transmit to us is transmitted at your own risk.
When using Online Services, you must take reasonable precautions to ensure you are not exposed to the risk of computer viruses, malicious code or other forms of interference which may damage your computer system. We do not accept responsibility for any such interference or damage to your system which arises in connection with your use of Online Services.
