Get your APIA Health Insurance card on mobile

Nearly all payment terminals (more than 98%) are compatible with your health insurance card in Apple Wallet. However, if you're unable to tap and claim on-the-spot, you can still use your physical card or pay as usual, get an itemised receipt and submit your claim through your online member account, opens in a new tab.

For iOS
After setting up your digital card, you can access it through Apple Wallet.

For Android
Adding your digital card to Google Wallet isn’t available yet, but we’re working on making this available as soon as possible.

If you change your personal details, like your name, your digital card will automatically update with the new information.

When your card is scanned at the HICAPS terminal, you'll see a confirmation message on the screen. If your claim is successful, the amount we can pay will be automatically calculated and your claim instantly processed, so you'll only pay the difference.

No, you technically don’t need both. You can just use the digital card on your device to scan at your healthcare appointments instead of the physical card. However, all new members will still receive a physical card upon joining.

This error usually pops up when your internet connection is weak or unstable. Try switching to a stronger connection and then retry accessing the App Clip.
